Cameron Poetzscher has come a long way since beginning his business career as a consultant with Booz & Co in Australia. While there, he handled many operational issues like sales and forecasting with a hands-on approach that was relatively unique at the time. He also had a hand in when it came to broader strategies and organizational issues. Cameron eventually went to Harvard Business School, where he earned an MBA with Distinction and followed that up by spending a year on the HBS finance faculty as a post-graduate. There, he conducted a lot of research and wrote copious numbers of articles on issues like derivatives, hedging and liability management.
Years later, Cameron Poetzscher finds himself an acknowledged leader at tech behemoth Uber. As their Head of Corporate Development, he has shown himself capable of being one of the best team players in business. He has raised a lot of capital for the company, but he has also engineered a number of partnerships with other corporations in the tech sector, but also with companies in other sectors, as well, like American Express and Spotify.
